Enrollment Funnels
In the sidebar, Enrollment Funnels opens as a group of four:
- Spiritual Direction
- Dream Work
- Conference
- Undesignated
Each one is a Kanban board — six columns, one card per person in that stage. Cards are draggable: pick one up, drop it into the next column, and the person’s stage on that program changes immediately. The Timeline on their record records the move.
Spiritual Direction and Dream Work
Section titled “Spiritual Direction and Dream Work”These two are program funnels. Each shows the people who have a row for that program — nothing else. If an alumna of Dream Work applies to Spiritual Direction, she appears in both funnels: Alumni of DW, Applicant of SD, both at the same time.
The six columns are Prospect → Engaged → Applicant → Admitted → Student → Alumni. Each card shows the person’s name, email, engagement score and the date their row last changed. A “paused + exited” toggle in the top right brings back cards whose status isn’t Active (On leave, Deferred, Withdrawn, Declined, Not a fit, Dormant) — those cards show up greyed, with a status badge.
For how all of this works underneath, see the chapter on The pipeline model.
Conference
Section titled “Conference”A single list of people who hold the Conference Attendee tag — the Summer Dream and Spirituality Conference crowd. The columns are the same six stages, but a person’s column shows the furthest stage they have reached on any program. Someone who has only ever attended the conference lives under Prospect; a conference attendee who later became a Dream Work alumna sits under Alumni.
Conference people are not required to have a program row. The chapter on The pipeline model explains why.
Undesignated
Section titled “Undesignated”The catch-all. Everyone in Contacts who has no person_programs row at
all — cold leads from a generic newsletter signup, the people a
social media import brought in without a program. The office works this
list by clicking each row and either:
- Adding them to a program, if the follow-up conversation makes it clear which one they want, or
- Marking them Not a fit or Dormant and moving on.
